available on DVD. Dr Piccioni talks about
the extraordinary odds required to form a universe by chance that
features just the right conditions to sustain life.
In this presentation, as in his book. he cites four factors needed for
life-- a stable universe, with the right sort of geometry, the
necessary atoms to form living entities, an Earth-like habitat, and a
genetic code like DNA. The simultaneous occurrence of these conditions
is highly unlikely to have formed by chance alone, he says, and
he presents to you the odds for this to occur.
The
presentation is in 2 parts, for a total of 2 hours, and includes a lot of
helpful visuals.
It can be a companion to the book or can stand on it’s own.
It does have some information not contained in the book.

As in the book, this is a science presentation. As Dr Piccioni says at
the end, when asked by a listener if he is saying that there is a
creative
intelligence, “It’s not my job to tell you what to
think I like to take you the top of the mountain to see the
view – it’s a great view. You don’t need me to tell you what
you’re looking at. If people want to believe that God created
life, then science has no position to argue against that.”
The
decision to be made that God created life, or that there is some
unknown mechanism we haven't discovered yet, is left entirely up to the
listener/reader.
